So to fire up some discussion (and get to know ppl better), let's talk about how we learned about Moonlight Blade and why we ended up staying and playing, especially given that there is this language barrier to it.
For me, I learned about MBO through lurking on BDO forums (never ended up playing that game, for better or worse), and I mostly lurked on the KoS server during the OBT until the the English Discord server came out. Joined this community and never really left (though I do go on semi hiatus depending on school workload). My Chinese level is pretty muh, so my knowledge of the CN community is likewise muh. So it's really just this community that I participate in; it has treated me well, and I hope to see it continue to grow (though I do look forward to the day we can let this group go when the EN patch comes out, that means I no longer have to keep taking screenshots for guides jk )
I enjoy the game for its aesthetics, even though I stick pretty close to the hobo life and have few pretty outfits (I lost title of true hobo after a cash shop sale last year). This game's high production value really shines where a lot of other wuxia games on the market are not, and the game makes a good effort of living to its goal of being a "cinematic" game.
You can get me fired up if you want to discuss outfits and stuff. Dailies are my bread and butter, I don't really endgame, and probably still will not run them regularly if Western release comes out. I am too lazy to do that. Just let me preview my outfits thx bai.
I mostly stick around here to help people who want to enjoy the game (as cheesy as that sounds), and will try my best to answer questions (or find someone who can, because I will accept my place in life as the original yahoo search engine with its occasional questionable query returns lolol).
I'm pretty sure other people's experiences are pretty different, looking forward to seeing what they are!
