JOBS IN MOONLIGHT BLADE
Moonlight has a unique system: called 身份 (identity), referred to as: Jobs or Professions. This system is a crafting career and a "quest like" way to earn money.
Professions in Moonlight Blade are a combo of activities (solo and group oriented), crafting, and group buffs (arrays). It is possible to get 3 different professions, with each new profession requiring more skill points for each node in the skill tree. Skill points can be obtained by doing the general daily.
Moonlight Blade offers 7 jobs including Constable, Assassin, Ranger, Mercenary, Hunter, Scholar (male only), and Musician (female only). Each job has unique features in which a player can earn money.

How to Choose a Profession
Use Ctrl + K, or click “身份“ in the bottom left menu to open the the job menu. Note that the game includes a tutorial on this when you hit level 30, where you will talk to various NPCs around Hangzhou.
When you reach this menu below, you can click on one of the icons at the bottom to select your profession. It should zoom in on one of the people in the paining and provide 2 buttons; left is confirm and right is cancel.

General Tips for Choosing Professions
-Ranger, assassin, and hunter are solo oriented
-Mercenary, constable, and the musician/scholar are group oriented
Assassin requires fairly few nodes to do the quests, and can be saved as the third profession. TX are generally expected to have musician. Musician and Scholar require a decent amount of points to get all the song buffs, so if you choose to take it, it makes sense to use it as the first job. Other than that, the main considerations are the profession buffs listed in the chart above and how you want to earn your money (solo or group).
How to Level a Profession
Each profession has 3 tiers of skills, you will need to level up the nodes with the highlight around it to get to the next level (in the picture below it is blue).
To unlock your 2nd profession slot, you will need to unlock the colored node in the 2nd tier of your current profession. 3rd profession slot has this requirement as well as an item requirement. You will need to buy a purple book from the general NPC (where you can buy hunter traps and ranger jades) that costs 200 bound gold.
Some nodes can be leveled multiple times, hover over to see if it has x/5 or something like that.
Other nodes have yet to be released, and will have this description on them:
Some crafting nodes may have prereqs in addition to Job EXP, hover over them to see if you will need to buy craft books to learn that node.
As you can see below, this node requires a craft book in order to level it up:
These books can be purchased in the PvE point store, and correspond the the level of T gear and the type of gear (weapon, armor, or accessory).
