Both 五毒 Wudu & 唐门 Tangmen are both one of the top DPS classes for 天涯明月刀 Moonlight Blade.
五毒 Wudu is a melee attack class, while 唐门 Tangmen is a range attack class.
唐门 Tangmen, a maelstrom ready to dole out chaos and mayhem on a massive scale. Possessing both aggression with its Fan & Puppet, forcing the enemy to be strapped a distance apart. However, if distance were to close up, rooting its enemies is an ability it is prepared for any incoming sign of threat.
Adept to setting up traps, lowering their defenses as well as slowing them down in battle, the quintessential glass cannon pumping out destruction despite of its fragile form.
Gaining the abilities to escape movement-impairing effects and swapping positions with it's puppet enhanced its survivability in combat makes it a class to be looked upon.

Priority of Attributes
洞察：外功攻击加成 (0.45), 会心率加成 (0.01%), 命中率加成 (0.02%)
Dong：0.45 External Attack、0.01% Critical Rate、0.02% Accuracy Rate
气劲: 内功攻击加成 (0.4), 会心伤害
(0.005) , 内功防御加成 (0.2)
Qi: 0.4 Internal Attack, 0.005 Critical Damage, 0.2 Interior Defense
力道：外功攻击加成 (0.45), 外功防御加成 (0.2)
Li：0.45 External Attack、0.2 External Defense
- dealing high dps to enemies
- great glass cannon
- great in luring waves of mobs due to puppet long cast range
- great at kiting, able to hit & run concurrently
- require alot of movement for controlling character & puppet (eg: direction of attacks, attacking while kiting and constantly rotating your camera, etc)
- low hp & defense, requires a frontline
- need to be versatile
唐门 Tangmen PvP Match-up against classes
Strong against: 五毒 Wudu, 真武 Zhenwu, 移花 Yihua
On par against: 天香 Tianxiang, 神刀 Shendao, 丐帮 Beggar
Weak against: 太白 Taibai, 神威 Shenwei

II. Skill Elaboration
Dancing Shadow can only be casted in non-combat mode. Displaying your puppet to others.
This skill is useless, I didn't even bother adding to my skill hotkey panel.
Passive: Activation of Puppet's skill & command.
Cast Range: 22m
Energy Cost: 20
Summoning of Puppet based on where your cursor is placed upon using Puppet Summon.
The core skill of 唐门 Tangmen used very often.
I recommend changing this setting if it's not. It will move your puppet when you press the skill instantly without you clicking the mouse.
Upon using Air-Spin Needles, Tangmen leaps into the air spinning pedals of needles in an AoE around him in a stationery air position, dealing damage every 0.6 seconds for 4 seconds.
Using Air-Spin Needles again within the 4 seconds of the first cast, makes Tangmen leap backwards and tossing an AoE needles dealing 1.5x damage to its enemies.
You can also use this skill if you happen to jump for the 1st cast and cast again to leap backwards.
It is great for dodge attacks from mobs/bosses if you are able to maneuver the timing well.
This skill is very usefull against big amounts of mobs since it does a big AoE.
Reduction to enemy's defense bar.
Defense break linear skillshot, crit rate +50% every 7 seconds for mass targets.
Extra 100% damage for single target when critical appears.
Attack Style of Flying Fan:
七杀: Preparation time for Flying Fan reduced to 1 second upon critical hit. (Green Colour Node)
武曲: If your enemy doesn't have defence and got hit by Flying Fan with a critical hit, he will be knock-up. (Blue Node)
Great for PVP
破军: Every target landing a successful critical hit, you regain 6 energy points. Max 30 energy points. (Orange Node)
Cast Range: 20m
Cast duration: 2seconds
Against single target, if their hp is lower than 20%, crit will be activated, dealing 2x damage.
If the enemy is close to death with little HP left, it will change to a finisher move and replenish your health.
七杀: Small Needles doesn't require any cooldown but you're unable to move while casting this skill. (Green Node)
Must in PVE and great in group fights PVP.
武曲: You can move while casting Small Needles. Your critical rate and damage is increased by 25% and your 3rd attack from Small Needles gain more damage. (Blue Node)
破军: Small Needles damage is increased by 50%,if HP leech is activated, it will reduce the cooldown of Big Needles. (Orange Node)
Rain of Needles
Strong single target damage, pressing 3 times to cast the skill fully.
Situational skill. Do not use it unless you're safe. Very prone to take unnecessary damage.
You can dodge in any direction and press the skill again to continue it's cast.
Upon casting the puppet, you have to wait 2 seconds before you can activate this skill.
It casts linear needles to be shot towards the direction of the puppet to you, targets hit by the needles are slowed and has ministuns.
Pressing this skill again, while in the attack range of the needles, you are able to switch position with your puppet.
Use this as an escape skill in pvp.
You can cancel the skill by replacing your puppet. Doing so will not have cooldown for Thousand Needles.
AOE damage (2 hit) to the enemies around where the puppet is, great in reducing enemy's defensive bar
Great damage skill. Bread of Tangmen.
七杀: When Explosion Trap lands critical hit only on 1 target, the damage is increased by 100%. If you do Explosive Trap without doing Rain of Needles first you won't get more damage. If you do you use Rain of Needles first then Explosive Trap in 10s you get 100% more dmg (Green Node)
武曲: Upon landing critical hit, you can knock-up the targets if they do not have defence bar. (Blue Node)
破军: When Explosion Trap's 2nd critically hits a target, it reduces Flying Fan crit decreases by 2 seconds. (Orange Node)
Crowd Control Escape
Escapes crowl controls.
Place a puppet before you to take damage. You have 1 second of invisibility.
The puppet gains threat level and can be attacked as a target for 4 seconds.
Great cc escape you can cast even if you're hit/disabled.
七杀: While casting Air-Spin Needles a puppet will appear and sping with you. If you use CC Escape, a puppet will be substituted to cast instead. Increasing the damage by 200%, while you are being rolled behind safely. (Green Node)
武曲: Reduces CC Escape cooldown by 2 seconds. (Blue Node)
You do not get thrown back like in the other nodes. You stay in the same position and go invisible.
破军: Summons a puppet to cast Explosive Trap upon casting CC Escape, reducing the cooldown by 15 seconds. (Orange Node)
Stuns an enemy (the enemy can't attack nor move) for 3 seconds.
Requires to target the enemy you want to grip, and the puppet has to be beside it. After summoning the puppet it requires 1.5second preparation before it can grip the target.
七杀: Any damage dealt to the binded target is increased by 30%. (Green Node)
武曲: Reduces Bind cooldown by 3 seconds. Target falls on ground at the end of Bind. (Blue Node)
破军: Binding target and anyone nearby the target. (Orange Node)
Provides buff to "Fan", "Small Needle", "Big Needle" and "Air Spin Needle". Maximum of 3 abilities can be buffed or within 20 seconds.
** Fan Buff: Summons a puppet to fight at the end of the fan cast range.
** Small Needle Buff: Summons a puppet to knock-down the enemy at the end of the 3rd needle action.
** Big Needle Buff: Summons a puppet to knock-up the enemy disabling it for 1.5seconds.
** Air-Spin Needles Buff: Summons a puppet to fight on the spot you are spinning at the end.
I'd personally suggest to use only the small/big needles buff for beginners. Of course you have to restrict yourself from casting other actions. This might be helpful to utilize fully;
Beginner: Grip(if possible) Small Needles > Big Needles > Small Needles
Beginner: Big Needles > Small Needles > Small Needles
After you're used to it, you can try this which i prefer the most.
Air-Spin Needles, Air-Spin Needles again before getting jumped/hit by enemy > Big Needles > Fan (press explosion trap subsequently) > Fan
III. Combo Suggestions
唐门 Tangmen is very flexible and versatile in terms of combo. After a period of time playing it, you will discover and create your own style of combo suiting your playstyle.
However, these are the combo I have learnt and usually play them in this manner which might be of help.
Combo 1: (The Basic)
#1: Against trash mobs: "Puppet Summon" + "Air-spin" + "Flying Fan" + "Puppet explosion" + "Flying Fan" + "Thousand Needles"
#2: Against large number of mobs: "Puppet Summon" + "Air-spin" + "Flying Fan" + "Explosive Trap" + "Thousand Needles" + "Small Needles" + Flying Fan" + "Thousand Needles" (to swap position in congested areas)
Combo 2: (The Boss)
#1: "Rain of needles" + "Puppet Summon" + "Bind" (on the last hit of "rain of needles) + "Puppet explosion" + Roll to the boss + "Air-spin" + "Crowd control escape" (while doing "Air-spin")
#2: The No-cooldown small needles + Buff
Use the buff at your own call. Everyone has different playstyle.
Under your Meridian under "N", open the nodes for every tab by adding just 1 level to it. (Well you will max them later, but not now if you want to progress fast)
Do not waste your cultivation points into adding or leveling them, the cultivation points are not worth to add them yet imo.
And it doesn't make much difference in doing so either. And your books give you far greater stats and damage. Save them. Use it for your books & guild tech.
I bought and used 6 of the similar stones for all my tabs in the Meridian as it gives the stats I want for my Tangmen.
You can acquire stones from either dungeons, pve store or buying them at Auction House located at 开封 KaiFeng (purchase at AH requires unbound gold).
Press B and you should notice your gold indicator as per below:
Get your blue stones of similar names would do. You dont need to spend time leveling them up early. Focus on getting your books done first.
That's most crucial. You can replace the middle stone 伤命小石 to 会命小石 instead, for crit rate % increase, which was what I did.
Round Stone: 恒慧圆石
Triangle Stone: 伤命小石 or 会命小石
Square Stone: 血防棱石
Gold Runes (obtainable with gold rune frags or bought at AH)
Round Stone: 恒慧圆石
Triangle Stone: 伤命小石 or 会命小石
Square Stone: 血防棱石 or 天行棱石
Next, would be your guild tech,
The 2 screenshots below are the guild techs which you will be adding after you completed your books.
Focus in leveling the circled ones as they are the most important for Tangmen to deal great damage to their enemies.
Focus on enhancing your books first before enhancing the guild tech as you will require a massive chunk of cultivation/economy playing that.
You can get yourself poor from overplaying it, especially if you don't know what you're doing with it.

Books are flexible in how you want to make your Tangmen into.
You can refer to this chart to plan what book you want to aim for your Tangmen.
Below are my recommendations for a beginner Tangmen
PVE RECOMENDATION (BEGINNER) - change around acording to level of book and stats it gives you.
风华 > 悲回风 > 淬火-流毒 > 修罗
PVE RECOMENDATION (INTERMEDIATE) - Once you get gold 洞 book
练武-洞察 > 风华-玉碎 > 悲回风
PVE RECOMENDATION (ENDGAME) - Only switch 洞 book to second position after 气 book is at lvl 9
练武-气劲 > 练武-洞察 > 风华玉碎 > 修罗
PVP RECOMENDATION (BEGGINER) - Change around acording to level of book and stats it gives you. (Focus accuracy for PVP)
杀菩提 > 悲回风 > 淬火-流毒 > 修罗
PVP RECOMENDATION (INTERMEDIATE) - Once you get gold 洞 book
练武-洞察 > 杀菩提 > 淬火-流毒 > 悲回风
