Hello soon to be padawan.
Moonlight Blade has a neat system that you can use from a low level : Master/Apprentice. It's win win for both sides in the long run.
In this guide I'll be covering the apprentice side of this feature. Comment down below if you want a "Become a Master" guide.
Try to get a master as soon as possible.
Masters look for people who are really interested in the game as it's a long term investement.
Another important note is that masters don't have unlimited time and knowledge thus reading the guides before asking questions is optimal.
Now there are different ways to get a master. Some people will simply ask you "Hey want a master?" and then you just have to say yes.
Other times you have to ask for a master.
I'll be covering the second way, as I think everyone knows how to say yes.
How to "apply":
- Go on the discord and get to know some of the members, you will surely find someone you want to learn from.
- If that person doesn't have space for a new padawan he can recommend someone else who is just as good or even better.
- Mention your class (note that master and apprentice don't have to be the same class)
- Get a Master who plays at the same time. (Look in to giving him your availabilities)
Some perks of having a master :
- Free daily XP
- Enter dungeons higher than your level
- Usage of the master's house
- Help and tips
- and more....
Does your master need to be the same class as you ?
Same class : He will be able to teach how to play the class in both PvP and PvE. You can meditate together at the same school for some quality master/ apprentice time. You can make fun of all the other classes and say yours is best.
Different class: Teaches you how to play against his class in PVP. Probably has already played your class ( maybe even has an alt the same as your class) or knows someone who can teach you. He can still meditate with you at the same school, don't worry. You can still make fun of other classes, just not his.
How to open interface:
Master's interface:
1. End relationship
2. Give your disciple a back rub (will give them exp, there must be at least a 5-level difference between master and disciple for this to work)
3. Teleport (will send a pull request to your disciple and teleport them to where you are)
4. Dungeon pull (use to pull your disciples who are below level requirement into dungeons, you must be lead or sub lead and in same team for it to work)
5. Form party
6. Private chat
7. This means you have a master disciple quest you can do
8. To see masters
9. To see disciples
10. Master disciple points
a) Earned when doing activities together: dungeons, capture, carts
b) Depending on how much points you have together, you get rewards when graduating.
c) Recommend graduating when at least 10k points for max reward
Disciple's interface:
1. End relationship
2. Teleport
3. Party
4. Chat
5. Master disciple quest
6. Masters
7. Disciples
8. Master disciple points
