If you are in a CN guild and can afford to do it:
1. Attend Guild Wars on Saturday
2. Attend Friday Event (aka Shura City) - fight for the box.
3. Attend Sunday Faction Fight (it's possible to get in without a strong guild, but only if you are in losing faction or you are ready to spam 1 click for around half an hour -.-)
4. If you get the chance, attend the "Big-Fat-Friday-Event-we-won-Raid". Be sure to go to the one where the rich people spend money rolling for loot, just by being there and not rolling you get up to 40k bound CS points.
Don't confuse with the mini version where only the end boss stands.
Powering up requires the following materials:
- Cultivation Points
- Books
- Rune Stones
- Bound Gold
- Gear Tokens
- Enhancement Mats (for PvP gear)
- Divine Weapons
- Guild Points (for Guild Tech and Guild Point Shop)
This guide lists useful activities for getting these materials and is divided into 3 levels based on how far you are in powering up.
Please go to the linked guides to learn more about the activities.

Newbie Activities (pre level 95)
1. Sea Content (unlock at lvl 85) ***
- Open Sea Content (Do Sea Quests) -> Check Sea Content Guides
- Try to hit weekly Sea Coin cap by running goods (getting a boat is useful, but prioritize money making first)
- As soon as you are able to buy the fragments for gold runes, start buying them weekly. Highest priority for sailing!
- If you are dungeon diving / PvE focused, also get the gold runes, be careful to not use them as fodder (crit dmg + pve dmg)
- Buy purple gear boxes (the bonus stats on these gears can be used for enhancing) -> see PvP Gear Enhancing Guide
- Drops T3 PvE gear jades, bound gold, pve points, and enchantment mats
- take the box on Friday after the event + on Monday after reset (CN time)
- Earn 1575 points for max reward, or if you are truly bored you can try to compete for the 1-month unlimited durability fishing rod
- Earn 7-10 blue 10k fodder runes and some fish for the fish trade shop.
- note: you need to empty the durability of the bait you got (0/99) to have a chance at it
- If you are in a timezone that allows it, just do it! Depending on the roll, can get up to 90 bound or unbound gold for every 12 flags.
- Lvl 3 of each profession gives stats. You can either choose professions for their stat gain or money (even if you the profession for earning money, you should level the stats nodes anyways)
- it's recommended to use the highest grade of profession materials (level 61) for max profit, don't bother with the lower grade materials (lvl 1 and 29)
- Keep running story quests so you can keep leveling and unlock your dungeons.
- Do all the challenges and side stories BUT if you see you are almost at culti cap don't do it! Leave those for later and spend some culti first.
- Try not to lose any culti, at higher levels its one of biggest bottlenecks for powering up!
- Do 3 Sea Battles a week.
- Start with the weapon with most important stat for your class first.
- Don't sell the divine weapon mats unless you maxed the weapon out.
- Don't rush or you will run out of bound gold.
- If you are awake, please do this activity!
- it gives culti and blue Shen Divine Weapon parts
- If enough people attend during the week, we will also be able to do drunken TB event.
- Check Discord for the location of guild tree planted every weekend, usually after guild quest is run.
- Wish on the tree!
- Guild quest is open on the weekend only
- Get guild points for yourself, and guild gold/jade for maintaing the guild.
- Donate the guild gold/jade using this guide.
- Wish 5 times a week, try to get trees with maxed out wishes for max rewards (runes and other stuff).
- Best time is before or after reset (Monday 0 AM CN time).
- Try to get a Master or get into a Brotherhood with a house.
- Take 3 baths a week.
- Read from the books in the house as you can. It will give you stats and culti.
- Say Hello at 3 houses (go talk to the housekeeper, at the prompt hit the first option, then second option)
- It will give you cult and reward box (randomly gives blue crafting mats, blue housing mats, fodder runs)
- Going to Say Hello at your friends or master's house gives better rewards.
If you don't have enough friends or masters to visit, go to any gold house to get the best possible rewards.
- Hit as many of the achievements as you can.
- Try to get everything to 16 at least.
- Refer to the Sea Content section for sailing achievements (killing pirates, investing in islands, etc.)
- drops T4 and T5 PvE gear jades
- drops purple defense Divine Weapon parts
- drops brown universal pages for purple books.
16. PvP Weeklies ***
17. Guild Donations- Do them until you get a full starter set (right now this is T4). You can always buy runes and other things with these points afterwards.
- Run 1v1 to complete the weekly quest (silver tokens) -> see guide here
- Run 5v5 to complete the weekly quest (gold tokens) -> see guide here
- You can run 3v3 and 10v10 instead, but it's more time consuming since you need more players per match
- Donate blue mats 10 times every day. It will give you cult and guild points.
- Try to do all of them. If you can't, focus on the faction daily (the one with bound gold and gold PvP tokens)
- If you can, do the meditation and mobs daily since reward is reduced with each day stacked (meditation stacks 3x, mobs 7x) -> these give exp and not culti so super useful for leveling!
- Check on Discord for teaching runs, check the Dungeon list page to make sure you have minumum level requirements.
- If you are confident with your Chinese skills, can use the World chat to find runs as well.
(Korean Server - all of the above plus this)
k1. Horse Racing
- Don't miss out on it, I miss horse racing rewards
- Only open during certain hours of the week, will have to check the event schedule.
- Gets you lots of rune stones and some cult.
- Korean dailies at the moment of writing are the old ones. Please ask Eury for her old guide. For now, please refer to this guide from mmosite. Please ignore the 4th type of quest that involves stealing carts.
Somewhere in the middle (the above plus this - after you just hit lvl 95)
1. Sea Content ***
- Hit the weekly Sea Coin cap
- Buy rune fragments, Green Lantern (if needed for shiny gear), purple gear boxes
- When you saved up some Sea Coin, try to invest 250k coin in each island, this will unlock a +5 single-stat pill per island.
- focus on bound gold, PvE points, enhancement mats
- take the box on Friday after the event + on Monday after reset (cn time)
5. Beach Cart (need 12 to 24 High Grade Flags)
- If you are in a timezone that allows it, just do it!

- Try to finish 3-5 blue weapons
8. Guild Tree
9. Guild Quest (must be in guild 4 days before the event)
17. Guild Donations

- drops T5 PvE gear jades
- drops purple defense Divine Weapon parts
- drops brown universal pages for purple books
- Do them even if you get a full starter set (right now this is T4). You can always buy runes and other things with these points afterwards.
- During a season reset, unspent points can get some rewards too (usually bound gold), but best to use them.
- Try finishing them but still watch for cult cap.
- If you need helper points, do 81+ and sell the PvP scrolls recipes for helper points. PvE gear jades can also be traded for PvE tokens.
- Keep running them for mats and cult.
Endgame (the above if you need plus this)
1. Sea Content ***
- Try to hit weekly Sea Coin cap by running goods
- Buy Rune Fragments, Big Red Crystals, Green Lantern, purple gear boxes all as needed
- run for bound gold, if you are truly bored
- take the box on Friday after the event + on Monday after reset (CN time)
- Earn 1575 points for max reward, or if you are truly bored you can try to compete for the 1-month unlimited durability fishing rod

8. Guild Tree
9. Guild Quest (must be in guild 4 days before the event)
10. Wishing Trees
11. Books and Baths
- Try to get your own house if you don't have one yet. (Ask 4-5 friends to say hello at your house to get a box - talk to the housekeeper, press the first, then third option from top)
- You will need to plant trees at guild island and your house (preferably big one 500j in high number channels)
- Plant 4x Trees a week (buy the 3 seeds from the PvE shop + 1 that occasionally drops from planting your own or the Say Hello box or fishing)
- If you have time, try to do the evening fishing (starts around 18-19pm CN time)
- 1 blue fish can buy a box with 30 donation mats
- Keep farming for book pages and the purple defense divine weapon parts until maxed.
- Run to help a newbie out!
- If you need helper points, do 81+ and sell the PvP scrolls recipes for helper points. PvE gear jades can also be traded for PvE tokens.
- Take low lvl guildies there, they will generate jade for the guild by being there for boss kills.
- Keep running them for mats and cult.
Special Events!
- Watch out for Seasonal Events. Most of them are money based - the more you spend the more loot.
- But if you are free-to-play, there are usually some basic activity points-based rewards.
- If you want to spend, try to spend smartly:
- events that have some rolling component are best for bound gold
- if you don't rush and you don't want the bonus for spending the max amount on roll event, topping up around 50 000 points will get you about half the rolls - this is more or less the best deal
- There are also top up events that give rewards based on how much money you load into your account
- and "spend money in-game" to get bonus stuff events
