Tangmen (唐门) - Puppet class
Welcome to a guide on TMs, undoubtedly the best class in Moonlight Blade.
Is this the class for you?
In PvE, TM have the advantage of having to dodge less due to their range, and also having effectively 2 bodies dealing damage. A TM vs. another class with equal skill and builds will likely come out on top for DPS. You also some good utility! Even if you play what I call “lazy tm “ (pressing nothing but one button) you can still do average.
IF you want to pursue TM PvP, I will warn you that it has a very high learning curve, and you should get used to dying a lot initially. You will be extremely squishy in the beginning. It takes a lot of skill to kite other classes without making more than one or two mistakes.
If you’re good, no one can touch you and you’re a god; If you’re bad, people will laugh and you’ll be a joke.
Im a joke.
The class itself will shine in the hands of a person with multitasking skills, good APM, fast reaction, kiting experience, a strategic planning mind, and (hopefully) decent ping.

Skill, Nodes, Tips for Combos
Wepp’s guide has the skill and node translations so go read that first.
Only thing missing is new spin node for TM:
Green: Puppet spins with you
Orange: Only puppet spins
Blue: Only you spin, counter-skill
Nodes
PVE: All green nodes, but fan and spin can be orange or green, playstyle preference
PVP: All blue nodes
Group PVP: It’s up to you to judge and modify for the specific type of group pvp. Tips:
-green small needle node for consistent needle spamming if you can get away with it, -orange puppet sub node for the lowered cd if you constantly are targeted.
-orange bind.If it’s the type of group where people are clumped
-green/orange spin if you aren’t targeted and you want to stagger people
Some PVE tips:
-”Big needle first hit, trap, big needle second, big needle third” is a must-know combo for TM. It takes advantage of the damage buff from trap for big needle. Press trap before you land to the ground from first hit big needle.
-Bind increases damage to the target. Bind before big combos.
-Breaking block bar for boss mechs- TM are good at this, but your needle is not. Use fan and trap i see so many people needle things that need block bar broken like do u not know how to tm.
Some PVP tips:
-When you sub on blue node, you can bind the insta-bind the enemy if they don’t roll away.
-At lower levels, putting puppet on you and sitting on top of it is a decent defence/deterrence. Trap when they dive you.
-Watch enemy’s blue blar. No blue bar means automatic win for TM, start to abuse your range and puppet.
-You can poison enemy and then chase them with puppet!!
-Always leave an escape, either spray or puppet sub up when engaging.
-A jump can increase your puppet distance by a teeny bit.
-Dont forget to spam spacebar for SuperArmor escape during certain class combos.
