WHY TREES?
The planting system in Moonlight Blade Online is one of the most rewarding yet easy activities in the game. Seeds are easy to obtain, plants require little to no maintenance, and harvesting give you massive amounts of crafting materials, which are essential for guild donations and guild tech (i.e., POWERING UP). They also provide help points, which can be saved up for books and runes.
Step 1: Buy Seeds
IMPORTANT:
Fir Tree (Most Crafting Mats + House mats)
Rewards: large amount of crafting materials (feather, leather, metal, stones, silk,), universal wood (exchangeable for housing and shipbuilding wood), small chance of dropping purple cultivation book pages, special gear add-ons, and Wishing Tree seeds.
Sakura Tree (Medium Crafting Mats)
Rewards: medium amount of crafting materials (feather, leather, metal, stones, silk,), make up powder, small chance of dropping purple cultivation book pages, special gear add-ons.
Faramita Flower (Low Crafting Mats + House mats)
Rewards: small amount of crafting materials (feather, leather, metal, stones, silk,), special flower (send to friends for popularity points), natural wood (exchangeable for housing materials), make up powder, small chance of dropping purple cultivation book pages, special gear add-ons.
Step 2: Where to Plant Your Seeds? GUILD BASE!
Press "O" to open Guild Menu and click this button and confirm (left button) to teleport to guild base
GUILD BASE FIELD!
On your map, look for the GUILD FIELD.
IMPORTANT:
- The fields boxed in red are for FIR TREES ONLY
- The fields boxed in yellow are for SAKURA and FARAMITA ONLY
(You can only plant one plant in each field TYPE, therefore restricting you to only two plants at a time)
Step 3: HOW TO PLANT YOUR SEEDS
Walk up to an empty plot (below) and Press "F". A menu will open up, select the seed you would like to plant.
That's it! Now I have a FIR TREE!
Step 4: HOW TO CARE FOR PLANTS
In the image below, my Fir Tree needs tending to (bug infestation).
Simply Press "F" when next to any plant that needs tending to heal teh tree!
Important
- You can tend up to 8 plants a day for 50 help pts each (400 pts total).
- Your own plants do not count towards this cap, allowing you to tend more than the cap.
[Plants that need tending also show up as GREEN LEAF icons on your minimap and map. YELLOW LEAF icons mean the plant can be harvested.]
Step 5: HARVEST!
But you pretty much go up to a plant that is ready to harvest (Gold Leaf icon) and Press "F". If you are harvesting your own plant, you will get rewards in the mail. It is better to allow other people to harvest your plant so you will both get mats (if you harvest your own plants, only you get mats).
You can harvest up to 5 plants a day. You can still harvest your own plant after max harvesting other's plants.

Step 1: Buy Seeds
- Press "Y" to open your Character Menu
- Click the button on the bottom-right of the Character Menu, opening the points/token exchange menu
- Click on the PVE Points shop on the left
- Buy seeds!
IMPORTANT:
- You need PVE Points to purchase seeds. PVE Points can be earned through dungeon runs and solo dailies (see 3 Core Dailies guide).
- You are limited to 1 seed of each type per week, which is fine as the plants take about a week to fully grow and harvest.
- Unless you own a house, you only need to purchase 2 seeds a week as you will only be able to plant 2 plants (1 Fir Tree and 1 of the other two flowering plants)
- Always plant a Fir Tree, the other two are up to you. (I recommend Sakura Tree for new players for more crafting mats)
