meant to be an abbreviated guide to address the "what books do i use? what's important to tx?" questions. if you have any more questions, ask on discord (ami, i, or appojuice).
tx is an interesting animal...many ways you can build.
pve
for pve, you can build dps v. heals. in general, at lower power (and by that i mean, like...pvp < 2.3), txs are healers. i don't know why this is honestly, but this is just what i have seen. for this, you would want higher acc to be able to hit in for bosses (fenghua yusui recommended).
and because of the rarity of dps tx for pve, when people say "pve build" for tx, they usually mean healing. for this, you will want high int dmg, which can be increased by stacking qi. it's also very useful in dungeons to have high hp, so you don't die and are thus unable to heal. in other words, qi and gen are your main things here. your healing power comes both from your qi/int dmg, but also the healing effect from your pve gear, which is why it's important not to use tank gear (even though the higher hp is tempting). the jump from t3 to full t4 is considerable (i.e., >x2). set bonus can help here. your books for heal build would generally be 80 aka shaputi (to keep your hp up) and baiyue bingxin. fenghua yusui is also popular but luohoujue can be used to sub in if you find it harder to get, and both can be foregone if you are using blue buff books anyway for your 3rd and 4th books. some people will level fenhua yusui only once for the 100 pt int dmg increase and use it as the last book. since your hp is coming from 80 while baiyue has qi, if you are healing more than you are worried about survival, you can switch the order of these two books. for pve heals, gold book selection would go for gold gen (hp) and gold qi (heals).
for runes in your meridians, use qi/gen runes, ones that increase hp.
for blue books...there's a lot of flexibility, but your basic core that people will expect you to have as tx are zhengqi and tiema. zhengqi buffs ult, while tiema raises int dmg. my personal favorite blue book buffs are susheng (rage regen) and tiema, so i can use tiema liberally with the rage regen.
at a beginner level, you can start to work on your shaputi book, since those are exhangeable dungeon pages, then work on either baiyue/fenghua, and also use zhengqi/tiema (since they also have synergies with each other). changtian is also a very useful book, since it has synergies with shaputi/baiyue and is relatively cheap/attainable buying from AH.
pvp
for pvp, you want to stack hp, block, anticrit. book setup would typically include 80/shaputi, baiyue, block, fenghua, and perhaps dart. past purple books, you can choose to use gold gen for higher hp. using gold gen will give you higher block, etc., but using qi will give you higher int attack (making you more of a nuclear build in the sense that your attacks will hurt more but you will also die faster). as tx, much of your block/acc will come from guild tech/gear stat lines. for runes in meridians, can use gen/shen runes.
